Dr. Callista Rakhmatov is an international development professional and global scholar at Michigan State University. She is also an author and entrepreneur.
Her dream is a world free from hunger and poverty, and her goal is to be part of the solution through agricultural capacity building and training programs, specifically in the areas of innovation, intellectual property rights, technology transfer, entrepreneurship, and commercialization. She is passionate about innovations getting into the hands of those who need them most, and improving the livelihoods of both the innovators and end users. She is also a specialist in science communication and project design and management.
She has worked in eight countries in Africa, Europe, and Asia.
